Alberto Mastromarino has studied with Paolo Silveri.   After his debut in 1987, in the role of Giorgio Germont in La traviata, at the first International Festival in Iraq, and in the role of Amonasro in Aida at the Teatro Eliseo  in Rome, he played several famous roles in Verdi’s operas: Il trovatore, Simon Boccanegra, Rigoletto, Nabucco, Un ballo in Maschera,  Attila, Falstaff, Otello, I Masdanieri, Ermani, Macbeth. He also played different roles in “repertorio verista”: Tosca, Gianni Schicchi, Tabarro, Le Villi, Madama Butterfly, I Pagliacci, Cavalleria Rusticana, Guglielmo Ratcliff, La Gioconda,  Andrea Chenier, Sly, Francesca da Rimini. His amazing career brought him in prosceniums like Milan’s Teatro alla Scala, NY’s Metropolitan Opera, Arena di Verona, Berlin’s Deutsche Oper, Berlin’s Staatsoper, Wiener Staatsoper, Los Angeles Opera, Buenos Aires’ Teatro Colon, Barcellona’s Teatro Liceu, Pechino’s National Centre for the Performing Arts,   Londra’s Covent Garden, Rome’s Teatro dell’Opera, Teatro Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Venice’s Teatro La Fenice, Turin’s Teatro Regio, Palermo’s Teatro Massimo, Naples’ Teatro San Carlo, and in many more italians and europeans stages.
