DI DINO Chiara,
soprano

Chiara Di Dino is a soprano in love for the vocalism in all its forms. She studied musicology at the University of Cremona,followed by a doctorate achieved at Universyty of Roma 3.  She studied sung in Italy with Leone Magiera.   She wrote a book, titled “L’altra Cavalleria  about the Cavalleria Rusticana composed by Domenico Monleone.   She has been singing Opera since she was 19 years old in Italy, Germany and Spain.  Her repertoire  also includes a wide number of chamber works by Schubert, Schumann, Liszt, Grieg, Adorno, Nietzsche, Eisler and Tveitt, repertoire she performed in Germany, Norway and Italy for – among others – RAI Radio 3, Santa Cecilia’s Academy in Rome, Teatro  Massimo in Palermo and Accademia Filarmonica of Bologna,   She Collaborated with the Norway’s Embassy in Italy, singing Lieder by Grieg, and Tveitt working with important norwegian orchestras.  She published with Kicco music label  the opera  Erighetta e Don Chilone by Leo Vinci.   From 2002 to 2005 she was the stage manager’s assistant at Teatro Massimo in Palermo during the production of Don Giovanni, I Capuleti e Montecchi, Moses und Aron, and Il trovatore.   She was assistant of the Director Sergio Rubino in Antonio Fortunato’s opera Salvo d’Acquisto for the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, and she was also assistant for the director Kuniaki Ida for a representation of  Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana in Tokio.   Over the last three years she has specialized in musical therapy and she’s currently active in such this activity.
